Pilot EFB runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 16.4 or iPadOS 16.4 and later, with layouts tuned for both phone and tablet, plus an Apple Watch app. For the desk, Pilot EFB Desk runs in the browser at app.pilotefb.com as a separate subscription. There is no Android version.

Yes. Pilot EFB is offline-first, so your logbook, saved briefings, and recently fetched weather and NOTAMs stay available with no signal. To pull new weather, NOTAMs, or roster data you'll need a connection. Once fetched, it's cached for offline use.

No. Pilot EFB is an informational reference and personal companion only. It is not a certified Electronic Flight Bag and must not be used for dispatch, primary navigation, or regulatory compliance. Yes. Pilot EFB is offline-first, so your logbook, routes, and briefings live in an on-device database and never leave your iPhone or iPad unless you choose to export them or opt in to cloud sync. There are no ads, no advertising identifiers, and we never sell your data. In-app analytics are off by default and use no third-party analytics provider: if you opt in, a small set of event counts is stored on our own backend inside the EEA, never free text, names, ICAO codes or times, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Analytics. Because the app is offline-first, most of your data lives only on your device and never leaves it, so you can export or delete it yourself in the app at any time. For account deletion or any other request, email support@pilotefb.com. Full detail is in our privacy policy.

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through them: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, and select the purchase. Pilot EFB Desk is billed by Stripe, so refunds and the 14-day cancellation right (terms, section 5b) are handled by us: email support@pilotefb.com from the address on your account. If something about the app prompted you to ask, we'd genuinely like to hear why, so drop us a line.
