NOTAMs live inside each station's workbench. Open a watched airport from the Brief tab's Stations mode and its NOTAMs tab holds the full list, decoded and searchable. A watched FIR adds a region's enroute notices to the same watch-list, and NOTAM alerts can notify you when a new critical notice appears. The line at the foot of every NOTAM screen, "May be incomplete - verify officially.", is the module's standing framing.

Find your way around

The NOTAMs tab of a station workbench has, from top to bottom:

The age pill turns amber once the fetch is over an hour old. Stale lists refresh themselves when you return to them.

How to read an airport's NOTAMs

On the Brief tab, switch to Stations and tap a watched airport. The Weather chapter covers building the watch-list.
Swipe the segment strip and tap NOTAMs.
Type in the search field, tap a category chip, or change the sort to narrow the list.
Read each card. The headline, tier and chips are decoded above the raw text, never instead of it:

Tap an affected-surface chip to filter the list to that surface.
Tap Show details on a card to expand the full decode in place: the RAW block, the validity window, the origin, the Q-line and any vertical limits.

Tap a card's body to mark it seen. It tucks into a compact one-line row so the unread notices stand out. A critical or high notice keeps a warning-tinted row, so it still reads as important once tucked.
Tap a compact row to peek it open again.
Tap the Viewed tick in the action row to mark a notice unread again. This is the one way to do it.
Star a notice to keep it expanded; a starred notice never tucks away.
On an expanded card, tap Share NOTAM to preview it as an image and share it.

How to decode one NOTAM

A NOTAM alert lands you on the notice's own page, the same full decode as an expanded card with the raw text always in view.

Open a notice from an alert, or tap Show details on its card.
Read the headline, the reflowed message and the badges, then the RAW block underneath.
Scroll to Validity: effective from and to, any D) schedule with its recurring active window drawn on a timeline, and when the notice was last updated.
Read Origin (the ICAO code and classification) and the decoded Q-line: FIR, Q-code, traffic, purpose, levels, coordinates and radius.
Check any F)/G) vertical limits. They are kept verbatim and never unit-converted.

How to see NOTAMs on a map

On the NOTAMs tab, tap the map icon on the group header to plot every located NOTAM around the field. For one notice, tap Map on its card instead.
Tap the tier chips (critical, high, medium, low) or the category chips (hazards, surface, obstacles, nav aids) to filter the markers.
Tap the count button in the map's top-left corner and read the map key: it names only the claims drawn, "Closed", "Partly closed" or "Named, not closed", so a notice that merely mentions a runway never paints it closed. A notice that locates itself to a stretch ("TWY A between A3 and A4") has only that stretch outlined, and the note says so: "named in this NOTAM, not reported closed". On the station map each notice's stretch is lettered with its NOTAM id and gets its own key row, so three notices on one taxiway read as three claims, not one painted surface. Where the map data has no fence to cut at, the whole surface keeps its outline and the note says why. Every claimed runway, taxiway, apron or stand also carries a halo of its colour on the ground around it, so even a short link taxiway is easy to find.
Scroll the Located list beneath the map for every plotted notice with its tier.

How to watch a region's enroute NOTAMs

Airport lists cover the field; a watched FIR covers the airspace between them: GNSS jamming areas, airspace reservations, enroute navaid outages.

On the Stations watch-list, tap + and choose Add a FIR NOTAM.
Search by code or name. "EGTT" and "London" find the same FIR.
Tap the result to watch it. The FIR's card appears in the FIR NOTAMS section of the watch-list with its active count.
Tap the card to open the full enroute list: the same searchable cards, source line and framing as an airport's tab.

How to set up NOTAM alerts

Open Settings > Notifications > NOTAM alerts.
Turn on the New NOTAM alerts master switch. When a new critical or high NOTAM appears at a watched location, the app notifies you, with the app closed too via push once you are signed in.
Set the Default alert level: Critical + high or Critical only.
Scroll the Watched airports and Watched FIRs lists. Each row is labelled with the reason it is there: home base, Brief airport, favourite, station watch or FIR watch.
Use a row's switch to mute it, or its level control to override the default. Pro Per-location levels are Pro.
To get alerts for a location you do not watch anywhere else, use Add alert-only watch at the foot of the list.

How to highlight what matters

Open Settings > Briefing, weather & NOTAMs > NOTAM keywords.
Check Highlight keywords is on. The built-in set is tiered:

In the Add keyword field, type your own term, "09L" or "ILS CAT" for example, and add it. Custom keywords bold in every NOTAM, matched case-insensitively on word boundaries, up to 50 terms.

On iPad the station workbench spreads out: all six segments sit in one strip, and the cards use the full width. Same card anatomy, same framing.

Troubleshooting

The list is empty. The app shows "This does not confirm no NOTAMs exist. Verify with official NOTAM sources." An empty list never means no restrictions exist; some domestic notices never join the international exchange the app reads.

The age pill is amber. The fetch is over an hour old. The list refreshes when you return to it, or tap Refresh NOTAMs at the foot.

A notice shows as "no longer listed", not "cancelled". A notice can drop out of a fetch for several reasons; only a NOTAMC formally cancels one, so the app does not claim it was cancelled.

A card is badged "In force - schedule not read". The app could not read the notice's D) schedule, so it does not claim the notice is active now. Read the raw text for the schedule.

The NOTAM map opened on Apple Maps, not the chart. No downloaded region pack covers the field yet. Download one under Settings > Data & storage > Offline maps and the chart becomes the default; Base map, under the map's layers button, switches between the two at any time.

I get no alerts with the app closed. Push alerts need you to be signed in, and the New NOTAM alerts switch on. On the free tier alerts cover one location; muting a location frees its slot.
